︎With their innovation in the fields of heating and cooling, studio abaton is groundbreaking news in the construction sector. They asked us for help with creating their entire branding concept and web appearance. The simple task: to turn something intangible, a subjective feeling of wellbeing, into a complete visual identity, starting with the name itself. „Abaton” is an ancient Greek term describing a sacred place, in which your home is being transformed.
We’ve already depicted their product solution, field of action and initial letter of the brand in the logo: the signet shows the abaton panel radiating heat or coolness. The result: a palpable difference of being in your own comfort zone.
The abaton panel is all about regulating temperature and humidity. Therefore, the balance of hot and cold lies at the core of the entire brand identity. We chose a warm, dusty pink and Adriatic blue as the main colors of our design. Combining the tones resulted in vivid gradients that serve as key visuals. They provide the brand with a certain vitality that depicts the in-between of temperature as well as seasonal climate changes.
Rather than deciding on one approach, we embrace straight lines, right angels and full circles at the same time. The custom typography was designed to reflect the core shapes of the figurative mark and in this way the feeling in a room regulated by abaton.
